Born and raised in Old Sharlayan, Claire was absorbed in a scholastic culture and way of life. Despite this, she strived more to uncover stories beyond the confines of scholarly discourse. While the elders delved into esoteric studies of history, Claire found much more interest in what was happening around her every day. As a child, her fascination with grand stories of adventure spun from minstrals and homecoming adventurers led her to pursue journalism as a means of bringing those smaller parts of the modern day happenings to a wider audience.Claire writes for "The Daily Echo," a dusty publication that brings dry, albeit comprehensive coverage of historical events to your doorstep daily! It's the sort of thing any Sharlayan scholar would love to start off their morning with. Claire brings a unique perspective to the paper with her journalistic keen eye for current affairs. Often was this a point of contention in her career however, as her focus for the present frequently clashes with the historical scope of The Daily Echo. Her editors typically struggle to find room for her stories regardless of how interesting she may find them. It is said that Claire owes the entire office a favor as she pushes to get her stories the rightful spot in the paper they deserve. Despite this, her columns are often well recieved by readers as a breathe of fresh air and thus she is allowed to continue her job. If only the higher ups would appreciate her work for what it's worth!Claire's work takes her across Eorzea, navigating the very sources of those adventuring tales she once loved. You can often find her roaming the streets of Ul'Dah or at large events in search of new leads or unsuspecting passersby to ambush with a slew of questions.

SFW RP Only
Player is 21+ and for RP would prefer that to be mutual.
Originally, The Daily Echo was meant as an RP device to talk to you about your character. Though I have started writing articles for real, if I don't write one about your character it in no way shape or form means "I didn't like you enough!" I have genuinely loved every character I have met and interviewed, seriously!
Thank you for reading! You are genuinely amazing and I appreciate your willingness to read this far.
