Born and raised in Old Sharlayan, Claire was absorbed in a scholastic culture and way of life. Despite this, she strived more to uncover stories beyond the confines of scholarly discourse. While the elders delved into esoteric studies of history, Claire found much more interest in what was happening around her every day. As a child, her fascination with grand stories of adventure spun from minstrals and homecoming adventurers led her to pursue journalism as a means of bringing those smaller parts of the modern day happenings to a wider audience.Claire writes for "The Daily Echo," a dusty publication that brings dry, albeit comprehensive coverage of historical events to your doorstep daily! It's the sort of thing any Sharlayan scholar would love to start off their morning with. Claire brings a unique perspective to the paper with her journalistic keen eye for current affairs.
